Private Pilot training course is mainly for those who want to fly for recreational purposes. Upon completing this course, a Private Pilot License (PPL) holder may act as a Pilot-In-Command (PIC), with or without passengers but only in non-revenue flights.

Pre-entry requirements:

• Student Pilot License (SPL)

• At least 17 years old

• Class 2 Medical Certificate

• Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Certificate (RROC)

• Filipino citizen or any foreign citizen granting similar rights with the coordination and agreement with the Philippine government

To obtain a license:

• Pre-entry requirements

• English Language Proficiency Level 4

• Completed PPL ground schooling

• Equipment Qualification Course (EQC)

• Pass written and practical exam from CAAP

• 40 hours flight time
